Black armband and invitation

A black strip of cloth stapled to a typed slip of paper. The paper directs the reader to "wear this armband as a symbol of mourning for those who have died in the Vietnamese war and with the hope that there will soon be an end to that war." It announces a meeting on October 15, 1969, at 8:00 pm at the Tennessee Tech University Wesley Arena.
